In a joint initiative of the Nonagon Association and Expolab - Centro de Ciência Viva, World Internet Day was celebrated today in the Science and Technology Park of São Miguel with an Awareness Action on "Internet Security".

With the support of the Public Security Police, with Agent Anabela and Agent Luís, of the Safe School Program, about 200 students from the Basic and Integrated School of Lagoa were alerted, in an interactive session, to the care they should have to access the Internet.

The Altice Foundation has been associated with this action by delivering to all children in a book separator mode with contributions on a secure Internet application.
