The auditorium of the Science and Technology Park of São Miguel received, last friday, the VIII Meeting with the Energy Efficiency, dedicated to the hotel sector.

The opening session of this event was attended by the Regional Secretary for Energy, Environment and Tourism, Marta Guerreiro and by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nonagon Association, Arnaldo Machado.

After that moment, the Regional Director for Energy, Andreia Carreiro, made a brief framework about energy efficiency in the hotel sector presenting the 2018 balance of the Region and the incentive systems in this area.

This VIII Meeting was also attended by several entities whose contributions enriched the panels dedicated to "Energy Efficiency in Hotel Buildings" and "Energy Management in Hotel Buildings".

A roundtable with the best practices closed this Meeting with Energy Efficiency.
