The auditorium of the Science and Technology Park of São Miguel, hosted, for the 3rd consecutive year, the Regional Quality Days, in this edition under the theme "Industry 4.0, Productivity and Innovation".

The 5th Regional Quality Days were attended by the President of the Portuguese Quality Association, Francisco Guerreiro, the Regional Director for Investment and Competitiveness Support, Ricardo Medeiros, representing the Vice-President of the Government, from of Lagoa City Council, with Arnaldo Machado, Chairman of the Nonagon Association Board of Directors.

"Quality vs. Industry 4.0" and "Quality as a factor of productivity" were the first two topics to be discussed at this meeting by José Mota, World Coordinator of I4.0 Bosh Car Multimédia Portugal and Pedro Saraiva, Vice President of the Portuguese Association for Quality and Director of the Nova Information Management School, respectively.

Secondly, "Quality and its contribution to the innovation of organizations" was addressed by João Dias, Digital Engineering of Vodafone, "The Quality System of the Autonomous Region of Madeira", by Isabel Rodrigues, Regional Director of Economy and Transport of Madeira and, finally, presented “The Azores Brand”, by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society for the Business Development of the Azores, Vítor Fraga.

This V Edition was closed by a debate that included all the speakers, moderated by Maria do Carmo Martins, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Norma Açores.
