The Nonagon Association, as coordinator of the Azores Digital Innovation Hub (AzDIH), promoted this morning an online Coffee Talk, under the theme “The role of Human Resources training in Technological Innovation”.
This AzDIH Coffee Talk was attended by José Carlos Caldeira, Administrator of INESCTEC, a research and development institute located at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, strategic partner of the Azores Digital Innovation Hub.
Through some examples practiced by INESC TEC, the approximately 70 participants were able to prove the importance and the real need for the training of human resources in the context of business and technological innovation.
“Digital Innovation Hubs can (and should) play a fundamental role in the whole process of synergies between training and innovation through the integrated provision of services to support the development of new products and services, advanced and professional training, access to technological infrastructures, support for entrepreneurship and financing solutions ”, concluded José Caldeira.
This was the second of a set of Coffee Talks to be held in order to raise awareness among Azoreans and companies about the importance of the region's digital transition, within the scope of the activities and objectives of the Azores Digital Innovation Hub. You can review AzDIH Coffee Talk here.
