TESARAC - the auditorium of the Science and Technology Park of São Miguel held last sunday, the 2nd Gala of the Ponta Delgada Football Association (AFPD).

The event aimed to distinguish and honor personalities and sports agents who, over the years, have left their mark on the evolution of Azorean football and futsal.

In the 2nd AFPD Gala, more than 30 azorean sports personalities were honored, divided into 9 distinct categories: Direction, Athletes, National Teams, Diaspora, Social Action Recognition, Social Communication, AFPD External Personalities, Merit Members and Honorary Members.

The event was led by the presenter Rui Almeida and featured several musical moments performed by some musicians from the Ponta Delgada Regional Conservatory.
