The Nonagon Association, represented by its Vice-President, Teresa Ferreira, participates today, June 28th, at the General Assembly of the European Business Innovation Centre Network (EBN), which takes place in Toulon.

Nonagon is currently representing all of the Business Innovation Centres (BIC) from Portugal in EBN’s “Board Members representing BICs” and participates in the General Assembly to approve the budget, the plan of activities and initiatives and services to be provided, as regards to the chain of value of entrepreneurship to be developed by the EBN network.

The General Assembly also marks the launch of the EU|BIC Impact and Activity Report 2019, which monitors the performance of certified BIC’s in which Nonagon is included - one of 7 at the national level and 150 at the international level.

The report now released reinforces the role of the EU|BIC from the standpoint of fostering entrepreneurship and job creation. In 2018, the EU|BIC’s supported around 23,400 entrepreneurs and contributed in generating more than 22,600 new jobs.
