The Nonagon Association- Science and Technology Park of São Miguel received, on January 25th, a visit from two members from INOV- Institute of Systems and Computers Engineering Innovation, one of the biggest national technological infrastructures that works with Technology of Information, Communication and Electronic (TICE) that has the purpose of transform knowledge into technology, focused on innovation.
In discussion between the members of INOV, António Leal and Elisabete Carreira, and the President of the Board of Directors of the Nonagon Association, Teresa Ferreira, it was possible to find out which areas INOV operates in, especially its collaboration in Research and Development and Innovation projects at national and European level in different areas.
INOV was founded in 2001, currently has 115 employees and it is a non-profit association that does not seek to be competitive, but to offer answers to market failures and problems.
The visit ended after the INOV members got to know the facilities of the Science and Technology Park of São Miguel and its companies.
