The auditorium and rooms of the Nonagon Association- Science and Technology Park of São Miguel received an international congress organized by HIA about ‘’New Healthcare Challenges in Azores’’.
This event was attended by national and internationally renowned speakers who had the purpose of sharing knowledge about the themes and techniques that are relevant to the health field, as well as the well-being of the community.
The 1st HIA Summit ended with the presence of Professor Craig Mello, owner of the 2006 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine, who talked about ‘’RNA- Guided Gene Regulation: ancient mechanisms and new medicines’’.
