The Nonagon Association – Science and Technology Park of São Miguel received, last Friday, the Technical Professional Course of Commerce of the Secondary School of Lagoa.

The 18 students, accompanied by four professors, were received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Teresa Ferreira, for a warm welcome.

After learning about the mission and objectives of this Association, with collaborator Lúcia Lopes, they had the opportunity to attend an interactive presentation made by collaborator Ricardo Machado on “Empreender e Inovar no Séc. some concepts and myths about Entrepreneurship, some successful projects were highlighted.

The activity ended with a visit to the facilities of the Science and Technology Park of São Miguel carried out by the collaborator Bruno Amaral.

With NONAGON as the core business of Information and Communication Technologies, this type of visit is of importance so that, by making known the business ecosystem and the Incubator, it can contribute to the attraction and retention of new talents in the Region.
