The Nonagon Association- Science and Technology Park of São Miguel received the 1st edition of the Integrated System of Security and Emergency Networks of Portugal (ISSENP).

The ISSENP Bootcamp 2022 counted with a period reserved for training, a seminar and an exercise with tests and demonstrations about interoperability.

The seminar occurred in the auditorium of Nonagon and featured four panels that covered themes such as ‘’The technological transformation and the future of emergency networks’’, ‘’Civil protection, emergency and security operations: interagency communications’’, ‘’Emergency Communication in insular environments’’ and ‘’Community support: communication and training’’.

The main goal of this initiative was the development of skills and the discussion of themes and concepts that are interesting to the ISSENP community, considering its demonstrations and practical application, as well as its operation validation.
