The Nonagon Association – Science and Technology Park of São Miguel received the rector of the University of The Azores, Susana Mira Leal, and her team for a meeting.

Having the purpose of getting to know the different areas of intervention of Nonagon, this meeting also wanted to identify and establish a partnership between the Science and Technology Park and the University, for example, through brief courses and trainings that can fulfill the needs of our companies and entrepreneurs.

This meeting counted with the presence of the Board Members of Nonagon, Teresa Ferreira, Fábio Vieira, and Odete Cabral, and with the Regional Director of Science and Technology and, simultaneously, President of the General Assembly of the Nonagon Association, Flávio Tiago.

The Rector of the University of the Azores was accompanied by Suzana Caldeira, Francisco Martins, Adolfo Fialho, Artur Gil, João Teixeira, Helena Cristina Vasconcelos, Luís Sousa, Célia Amaral, Emanuel Carreiro, Carlota Dâmaso and Henrique Carreiro.

At the end of the meeting, they had the chance to visit the facilities of Nonagon and interact with some companies and start-ups, such as Fibrenamics, Pureza Notória, Azores BIM Studio, Segmétrica and Guia Arquivos.
