The Nonagon Association- Science and Technology Park of São Miguel attended, in Tenerife, the XV Iberic Meeting of Science and Technology Parks.
This meeting was attended by Teresa Ferreira, president of the Board of Directors of Nonagon and Vice-President of TECPARQUES- Portuguese Association of Science and Technology Parks, and by two companies from the business ecosystem of Nonagon.
On a panel entitled ‘’Elevator Pitch PCT’s Assistants Companies’’, those who were present had the opportunity to find out the core business of CIMPA, represented by the engineer Fernando Cunha and, by video, the AO Space, with the intervention of the former astronaut Danny Oliva. This presentation occurred under the plan of the internationalization of science, technology, investigation, development and innovation of the Nonagon Association.
It was announced during the event by the President of TECPARQUES, Hugo Coelho, the ‘’Smile’’ initiative that wants to promote the exchange of collaborators between the Portuguese and the Spanish parks with the purpose of sharing good practices and learning.
‘’Creating a talent economy.’’ was the motto from the meeting that gathered about seventy people who came from the Science and Technology Parks of Portugal and Spain.
From the Azores, besides Nonagon, the XV meeting also counted with the presence of TERINOV- Science and Technology Park of Ilha Terceira.
