The Nonagon Association – Science and Technology Park of São Miguel was one of the entities invited to participate in the IX Child Safety Fair.

This fair, promoted by the police department of Ribeira Grande, takes place under the Safe School Program and aims to raise awareness among children between 6 and 9 years old about several topics related to their safety.

The Nonagon team presented, for the first time, the theme ‘’Communicate Safely’’ and prepared two activities that aimed to alert children about the dangers related to the internet and, also, to show to them how they can be more conscious and safe users.

The IX edition occurred from March 21st to 24th at Gaspar Frutuoso School and it has gathered about 500 children.
