The Nonagon Association- Science and Technology Park of São Miguel, along with TEC-PARQUES- Portuguese Association of Science and Technology Parks and PRA- Raposo, Sá Miranda & Associates- Law Firm, promoted an online training, on January 24th and 26th, about «Medidas Especiais de Contratação Pública e o Código dos Contratos Públicos».

The training started with a brief welcome speech by Hugo Coelho, President of TEC-PARQUES, and by Teresa Ferreira, President of the Board of Directors of THE Nonagon Association and Vice-President of TEC-PARQUES.

During the training, conducted by the lawyer David Coelho, Administrative and Public Procurement at PRA, the participants were enlightened about the amendments to the « Código dos Contratos Públicos e às Medidas Especiais».

At the last moment of the training, with the presence of the lawyer Sérgio Figueiredo, Senior Associate- Litigation and Arbitration at PRA, the topic of "Money Laundering Prevention- the specific case of Service Providers to Companies" was addressed.

The Nonagon Association has been a member of TEC-PARQUES since 2012 and a partner of PRA since 2016.
