The Nonagon Association - Science and Technology Park of São Miguel received a visit, today, by the representatives of the Board of ANI - National Innovation Agency.

The President of the Board of Directors of the Nonagon Association, Teresa Ferreira, received João Borga, member of the Board of Directors of ANI, and Diogo Araújo, Director of Capacity Building of the National Innovation System ANI, who were accompanied by the Regional Director of Science and Technology, Flávio Tiago and by the Head of the Division of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Regional Government of the Azores, Fábio Vieira.

ANI's mission is to catalyze and boost innovation in Portugal, as well as to promote collaboration between entities of the Scientific and Technological System and the business environment, so it is crucial for NONAGON, which operates based on the same goals, to strengthen this contact to increase the Azorean business competitiveness.

This visit allowed some companies that are part of the ecosystem of the Science and Technology Park of São Miguel, such as Fibrenamics and IGNAE, to talk directly with the representatives of this Agency and present their projects and their areas of activity.

After getting to know our spaces, the ANI directors showed, at the end of the visit, their appreciation for the quality of the infrastructure and projects under development in this business community.
