The Association Nonagon- Science and Technology Park of São Miguel received, this Monday, the visit of the Minister of Infrastructure, João Galamba, accompanied by the President of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Mobility and Infrastructures, Berta Cabral, the Regional Director of Science and Technology, Flávio Tiago, and the Regional Director of Communications and Digital Transition, Pedro Batista.

The President of the Board of Directors of the Nonagon Association, Teresa Ferreira, received the group for a visit, which also included the Mayor of Lagoa, Cristina Calisto, the Vice-President, Frederico Sousa, and the Deputy of the Cabinet of Support to the Presidency and City Council and, simultaneously, Member of the Board of Directors of NONAGON, Odete Cabral, where it was possible to understand the different areas of the Science and Technology Park of São Miguel.

The Minister and the committee interacted with some of the companies that are based in NONAGON, such as Jolera, Trisolaris, Azores Bim Studio and Multic, where they had the opportunity to find out about the projects they are developing and in which areas they operate.

At the end of the visit, Lúcia Lopes gave a brief presentation in the TESARAC auditorium.
