The Nonagon Association - Science and Technology Park of São Miguel received, yesterday, the visit of the socialist Isabel Carvalhais.

Accompanied by two advisers, Isabel Carvalhais was received by the President and Vice President of the Board of Directors, Arnaldo Machado and Teresa Ferreira, respectively, having been informed, through a brief presentation, about the strategic objectives of this Association and the planned initiatives for 2020.

After the meeting, Isabel had the opportunity to get to know the infrastructures of the first Science and Technology Park in the Azores and interact with some of the companies installed in this business community.

She will defend the interests of the Azores in Brussels in the areas of agriculture, rural development and fisheries.
