The Nonagon Association - Science and Technology Park of São Miguel recieved today the Leisure Activity Center - “O Borbas”, from Lagoa.

At first, the kids present could understand why the name “Nonagon” was chosen for this project, what the objectives of the Association are and also got to know the Coderdojo project as well. The Coderdojo project is a free access club that aims to encourage the youngest in programming.

Then and before visiting the building, the kids got the time to explore the companies residing in the Science and Technology Park of São Miguel through the “Nonagon Quest”, a game that works with an information panel.

This visit counted with the support of Expolab - Science Centre with whom the kids of “O Borbas” were alarmed to all the dangers associated with a bad and careless use of the internet.

The visit ended with the kids promises of sharing what they learned with all their friends and family.
