On november 25th and 26th, the FIWARE CAMP AZORES will take place at NONAGON – Science and Technology Park of São Miguel, as part of the INTERREG MAC FIIHUB Project.
FIWARE CAMP AZORES, organized by NONAGON – Science and Technology Park, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ponta Delgada and Regional Fund for Science and Technology is an international meeting that aims to disseminate new trends and developments in FIWARE technology, promoting its use. It is an integral part of the INTERREG MAC FIIHUB project, which, that has partner entities of the Canary Islands, Madeira and Cape Verde, besides the organizing entities, which aims to create and implement the first technological reference center for the development of the Macaronesian business and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
This event is aimed at SMEs, start-ups and large companies that develop solutions based on open-source platforms; professionals who are interested in knowing the solutions integrated in FIWARE; public entities that want to develop solutions compatible with the FIWARE platform; students, university graduates and professional internship graduates in the fields of computer science, telecommunications, data science and others.
The event will feature keynote speakers, roundtables over two days, each with a specific theme, namely Smart Data Models for Tourism (25th November) and Open Government and the Impact of Innovation (26th November). For more information, you can consult the program and register directly here.
On the afternoon of the 25th there will be a technical workshop, introductory to FIWARE technology, aimed at professionals and technicians in the field of information technology and digitization.
