The Nonagon Association – Science and Technology Park of São Miguel received, from the European Business and Innovation Centre Network, the renewal of the EU|BIC Certification for the next 5 years.

Nonagon is part, since 2016, of a restricted group of certified organizations due to the recognition of their capacity for innovation, their growth rates and the quality of the services they offer, suiting the needs of the incubators and SME’S they host.

The first EU|BIC Certification was renewed in 2018 and the current one is followed by the application that was completed in December of 2022.

EBN is the only organization authorized by the European Commission to grant EU|BIC certifications and, despite being based in Brussels, it has extended to other places, such as North America, South America, Africa, Middle- East and Asia.
