The Nonagon Association - Science and Technology Park of São Miguel, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Arnaldo Machado, was present yesterday at the online event “Conversations (In)formal - International Data Protection Day.

The event featured a first moment dedicated to “Ethics and the Law in the face of new technologies in the treatment of personal data” with the presence of Inês Oliveira and Maria do Céu Patrão Neves.

Next, “Information Security and Security of the processing of personal data” was addressed with the contribution of Arnaldo Machado and Rodrigo Adão da Fonseca.

This initiative, which had about 70 participants from the most varied sectors of activity, was carried out by Norma Açores to mark the International Data Protection Day.
