Nonagon - São Miguel Science and Technology Park yesterday hosted an information session on the Business Acceleration Program - Blue Bio Value - an initiative promoted by the Oceano Azul Foundation and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

Blue Bio Value is a program that aims to attract and empower projects that constitute business opportunities in the marine biological resources value chain. The focus is on marine biotechnology as well as the development of sustainable products or services that have a positive impact on ocean preservation.

This pioneering program is part of the Blue Azores commitment, focused on conservation and sustainable use of marine resources, developed by the Azores Regional Government in close collaboration with the Oceano Azul Foundation and Waitt Foundation & Institute, and involving various partners and local entities, nationals and internationals.
