The Science and Technology Park of São Miguel hosted, on the 25th and 26th of November, for the first time in the Azores, the FIWARE CAMP AZORES event, within the scope of the INTERREG MAC FiiHUB Project.
This event featured keynote speakers and roundtables, over two days, each with a specific theme, namely Smart Data Models for Tourism and Open Government and the Impact of Innovation.
On the first day of the event, an introductory technical workshop on FIWARE technology was also held, with the presence of professionals and technicians in the field of information technology and digitization.
FIWARE CAMP AZORES, organized by Association Nonagon, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ponta Delgada and Regional Fund for Science and Technology is an international meeting that aims to disseminate new trends and developments in FIWARE technology, promoting its use.
It is an integral part of the INTERREG MAC FIIHUB project, which, in addition to the organization, is part of partner entities of the Canary Islands, Madeira and Cape Verde, which aims to create and implement the first technological reference center for the development of the business ecosystem and Macaronesian entrepreneurship.
