The Nonagon Association- Science and Technology Park of São Miguel hosted the 10th edition of the Macaronesia Forests Journeys with participants from the Azores, Madeira, Cape Verde and the Canary Islands.

These journeys are an opportunity to get the attention of politicians about the forest issues, which are very common in the Macaronesia region and have constituted a privileged space in work presentations and discussions about insular themes in the forest field.

In this edition, considering the European strategies for the forest, biodiversity, water and soil for 2030, the focus was on the ecosystem services provided by the forest.
