The Nonagon Association - Science and Technology Park of S. Miguel participated in the 2nd meeting of Incubators of the Azores Business Incubators Network, an initiative promoted by the Vice Presidency of the Government, through the Azores Business Development Society (SDEA).

The Vice-President of the Government, Sérgio Ávila, said that, "during this meeting, the responsible for the incubators of companies of the Azores were given the opportunity to participate in a training action in the incubator management practices, sustainable business models and 'mentoring'".

This 2nd meeting, in addition to the training provided by the Território Criativos, also aimed at "strengthening relationships, as well as the sharing of knowledge and experience by the incubators, due to the different realities with which confront in the common purpose of fostering entrepreneurship in the Azores", added Sérgio Ávila.

The Azores Business Incubator Network, managed by SDEA, currently has nine business incubators, namely Praia links, Go On, Startup Angra, Azores CraftLab, ONE Solmar Business Center, Un Office, CEmpA , INCUBAÇOR and TERINOV.
