The Nonagon Association, promoted, last Sunday, the first edition of the "Angels Go-On" initiative, in the Science and Technology Park of São Miguel.

Through "Angels Go-On", about 10 azorean start-ups had the opportunity to pitch to a group of Business Angels who, in addition to evaluating the possibility of investment, promptly left their advices to each of the projects presented.

The Business Angels invited to this first edition were Tim Vieira, Ricardo Luz and Basílio Simões.

"Smart Money", which is characterized by a capital entry of a start-up in exchange for mentoring and networking (Business Angels and Venture Capital), potentiates the leverage of any entrepreneurial project. For technology-based entrepreneurship placed on the assumption of scale-up, smart money is indispensable, as can be seen in technological scale-ups.
