The auditorium of NONAGON opened its doors to host the “Freguesias 2024” training session, organized by the Regional Directorate for Cooperation with Local Government.

The opening session was presided over by the President of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, the Regional Director for Cooperation with Local Government, Octávio Torres, the Vice President of the Lagoa City Council, Frederico Sousa, and the President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Municipalities of São Miguel Island, who is also the Mayor of Ponta Delgada, Pedro Nascimento Cabral.

This event was attended by 160 participants, including mayors of São Miguel, parish council presidents, parish assembly presidents, and administrative staff from the municipalities and parish councils.

The event also included the signing of a protocol with ANAFRE.
