The NONAGON auditorium received the II Public Health Conference, an event promoted by USISM - São Miguel Health Unit, which took place on January 23 and 24.

Over two days, more than 250 participants, including health professionals and professionals from related sectors, gathered to discuss and share knowledge, promoting in-depth reflection on public health policies.

The opening session was chaired by the Regional Secretary for Health and Social Security, Mónica Seidi, the representative of the Lagoa Municipal Council, Albertina Oliveira, the President of the Board of Directors of USISM, Sandra Silva, and the Chair of the II Conference of the USISM Public Health Unit, Larisa Shogenova.

The event featured five conference panels and two round tables that provided a space for discussion and exchange of experiences on the challenges and advances in the area, both at the regional and national and international levels, contributing to the development of innovative solutions in the sector.
