NONAGON – São Miguel Science and Technology Park welcomed Biometrid, a leading company in the development of innovative biometric identity verification solutions responsible for the digital issuance of the Chave Móvel Digital (Digital Mobile Key) via biometrics.

Fernando Oliveira, Frederico Costa and Miguel Real, representatives from Biometrid, had the opportunity to explore the Park's infrastructure, meet with resident startups and companies, and learn about ongoing projects.

The aim is for Biometrid’s presence in the NONAGON ecosystem to be a valuable addition, helping to drive the development of new technologies that can be applied globally.

Biometrid is a Portuguese company based in Porto, specializing in digital identity solutions. They are suppliers to the Portuguese State in the development of the Digital Mobile Key and to Caixa Geral de Depósitos, as well as other international banking institutions. The company is expanding internationally with projects in Africa and other European countries.
