AHAU Software, in collaboration with the Azores Chess Association, organized a chess tournament on September 14.

The event, held at NONAGON, attracted around 32 players of all ages. It began with an opening ceremony, which included 6 rounds, and concluded with a prize-giving ceremony attended by Eng.º Frederico Sousa, Vice President of the Lagoa City Council.

The initiative aimed to promote and encourage the practice of this sport, highlighting its role as an educational and cultural tool.
